A conference by Agnès Ghenassia,
The history of art is strewn with controversies and scandals because the freedom of expression of artists often comes up against the incomprehension and the anger of the public.
If some of these misunderstandings and rejections make people smile a few decades later, others continue today to fuel debates and serve as arguments for detractors of contemporary art, especially in an economic context where scandal sells.
Conference of Wednesday the 5th of October 2021 at 10:30 am
ENTRY FEE MEMBERS : 5€
NON MEMBERS : 7€
The conference will be held at 6MIC (Contemporary Music Hall of the Pays d’Aix), located at the entrance to the new Constance district in Aix-en-Provence, a few hundred meters from the Vasarely Foundation, at the chemin des Aubépines.
