Considered classic in its time as opposed to the romanticism of Géricault and Delacroix, Ingres’ work is a repertoire of forms and ideas of such richness that modern and contemporary artists have drawn from it ad infinitum: tributes, borrowings, reformulations, absorption, irreverence… all these “citation” procedures have for generations contributed to renewing our gaze on this audacious “classic” great master.

ENTRY FEE FOR MEMBERS : 5€
NON MEMBERS : 7€

The conference will be held at the Théâtre 108 (Espace jeunesse), located at 37bis of the boulevard Aristide Brian in Aix-en-Provence. The nearby car parks are Bellegarde, Pasteur and Signoret..
