Conference by Agnès Ghenassia
For centuries, the representation of flowers in painting was endowed with a precise symbolic charge.
The Impressionists ended this tradition by looking at flowers for what they are, a manifestation of the beauty of the world. A few modern artists have devoted themselves to it, but it is especially among contemporary ones, freed from the dictates of “modernism”, that flowers are once again the object of strong and unique practices.
So, a few days before Valentine’s Day, this conference will offer you a cheerful bouquet! (or rich and varied, as you prefer)
Conference on Tuesday the 8th of February 2022 à 10:30 am
ENTRY FEE FOR MEMBERS : 5€
NON MEMBERS : 7€
The conference will be held at the 6MIC (Salle des Musiques Actuelles du Pays d’Aix), located at the entrance to the new Constance district in Aix-en-Provence, a few hundred meters from the Vasarely Foundation, at the level of the chemin des Aubépines.
