The association will work on both memorial and future initiatives :

- to make known and to ensure faithful interpretation of Vasarely’s views and wishes as they are presented in his many writings (letters, articles, texts, books, monograms, catalogues, prefaces etc…) and similarly, the interviews that he gave (reconstitution of eye-witness accounts and conversations, radio and television interviews etc…),
- to gather personal accounts from those who knew the artist during an essential period of his career,
- to further the scientific and technical analysis of the work of the “father of cinetic art” (formulation of a description of the method of creation and production of the artwork),
- to study the influence of Victor Vasarely on contemporary artists of a similar style: Agam, Cruz Diez, Soto,Tomasello, Vardanega, the Groupe de Recherche d’Art Visuel and especially Yvaral, etc…
- to prepare a collectors inventory (public and private), art sellers, gallery-owners, businesses, museums, foundations etc… who have initiated exhibits, architectural projects, maquettes, publications, etc…
- to contribute to the creation of the catalogue raisonné of original works, limited editions : serigraphs, lithographs, sculptures, etc… models, architectural integrations, drawings, sketches, etc…
- to help solidify the special relationship between the Fondation Vasarely and the Hungarian Vasarely museums in Pécs and Budapest,
- to encourage the writing of theses or monographs for cultural and scientific publications which reflect the mindset and intentions of the Association,
- to encourage and undertake all initiative (cultural, judicial, financial and commercial) that contributes to the fulfilment of the Association’s goals via conferences, exhibits and publications.”
